Step 1: The first step is to open the GOOGLE CHROME web browser.
Then go to the top-left corner on the BOOKMARKS TAB, and find BPUSD BOOKMARKS.
Click on the ClassLink blue icon on the drop-down menu.
Step 2: Type your BPUSD Username (without @bpusd.net) in Username and Press Tab.
Step 3: Type in your BPUSD Password in Password.
Step 4: Click Sign In.
Step 5: Click your PROFILE ICON.
Step 6: Click MY PROFILE.
Step 7: Click GENERAL and review your general information (ex. First Name, Last Name, Display Name) and update it if needed.
You may also "Change Image" and update your picture.
After you are done make sure to click the green icon SAVE SETTINGS.
Step 8: After you saved, click on the (X) to EXIT MY PROFILE.
Step 9: To access Illuminate for the first time, you will click the ILLUMINATE icon.
This will send you to an opened, separate tab with the ILLUMINATE LOGIN SITE; ENTER YOUR CREDENTIALS to sign-in.
*Remember to RETURN to the CLASSLINK TAB to open more icons.
Step 10: Although you need to login to Illuminate, you have IMMEDIATE ACCESS to icons such as i-READY; you do not need to login.
Click the i-READY icon and this will open it on a separate tab. *Remember to RETURN to the CLASSLINK TAB.
Step 11: To personalize your dashboard to your liking, click the PENCIL on the upper-right hand corner next to the SEARCH BOX.
Step 12: Click ICON STYLE if you wish to change the icon type from square to circle.
Step 13: Click ICON SIZE if you wish to change the icon size to small, medium, or large, which you can also do to FONT SIZE, which is the next tab.
Step 14: Click THEMES if you wish to change the color of the background of your dashboard.
Step 15: Click WALLPAPER if you wish to change the wallpaper of your dashboard.
Step 16: After changing the preferences to your liking, you can start CREATING FOLDERS to help you stay organized (just as you would on your smartphone).
Click ANY ICON YOU WOULD LIKE TO GROUP.
Step 17: With your mouse, CLICK and DRAG THE ICON, then DROP IT ON THE ICON you want to group it with.
Step 18: Now you have created a NEW FOLDER.
You can RENAME your folder to your liking.
*Remember, you can only complete these tasks if you are Editing, meaning you clicked on the PENCIL next to the SEARCH BOX.
Now, click on the (X) to EXIT EDITING.
Step 19: Missing icons? Wanting to add more?
To add a new icon
click the PLUS SIGN.
Step 20: It will take you to the APP LIBRARY.
Now, choose the app that you want to add.
Click ADD at the bottom right-hand corner of that specific app.
Step 21: Repeat the same process to all of the apps you want to add.
If you want to try out the app, click on it AFTER EXITING.
Click the (X) BUTTON to EXIT the App Library.
For first time use of the app, you will need to introduce your SIGN-IN CREDENTIALS.
Step 22: Want to access your files on OneDrive?
Click MY FILES at the bottom center of your screen.
Step 23: This will take you to the school network.
Click School Network.
Step 24: Double-click HOME DRIVE to see your files.
Step 25: You also have access to your Office365 folder.
Step 26: You should now see your files and those shared with you.
Cannot see Office365?
Click Manage Services.
Step 27: Here you can connect your Office365 drive. If it says "Disconnected" you can connect by clicking CONNECT and signing-in with your credentials.
**In this account, Office365 is already connected and should be for you too. Let us know if you need help.
Step 28: Want to add your Google Drive?
Add Google Drive by clicking CONNECT and sign-in with your credentials. Let us know if you have any issues.
**In this account, Google Drive is already connected.
Step 29: Want to go BACK TO YOUR APPS?
Click Baldwin Park.
Step 30: Click My Apps.
Step 31: Welcome back to your dashboard!
Want to sign out?
Click the ARROW NEXT to the PROFILE ICON.
Step 32: As general practice, always remember to sign-out.
Do not worry, your credentials are now saved for future logins.
Click Sign Out.
Step 33: That is it; you are done! If you have any questions or need further assistance please SUBMIT A TICKET.
