Phone Support
The District will be deploying a new phone system in the next couple months. This new Voice Over IP (VOIP) system will replace the old copper line based phone system. A VoIP telephone system will allow the District to implement many functions and features not available in the legacy telephone system such as voice to email, virtual phone on the computer, receiving phone messages on mobile devices if desired and integration with other District systems. Another benefit as the name suggests, VoIP uses internet/broadband connection to make and receive telephone calls. This can dramatically reduce running costs by eliminating the need for the plain old telephone lines.
