Baldwin Park Unified Enhances Campuses With Summer Facility Upgrades

Projects completed during the summer months include new cafeteria and gym floors, updated playgrounds, new shade structures, and refreshed classrooms and labs. A highlight of the improvements is the refreshed Sports Medicine Lab at Baldwin Park High School, along with two innovative learning spaces coming soon to Sierra Vista High School — the Spyder Lab and a state-of-the-art Esports Lab.

“These projects reflect our ongoing commitment to modernizing our campuses and ensuring our students have access to the very best facilities,” Superintendent Dr. Froilan N. Mendoza said.

BPUSD has also outlined plans for additional projects in the months ahead, including kindergarten playground updates at multiple schools. The District is also phasing in new playground surfaces that are safer and designed to better absorb impact.

BPUSD continues its phased approach to modernization with progress toward safer, more innovative spaces that support student success.
