North Park Continuation High School Celebrates Class of 2025

The graduation event took place in the school’s quad area and celebrated 86 students who successfully earned their high school diplomas. While the graduating class was smaller in number compared to previous years, the milestone was significant. This year, many seniors recovered credits early and returned to their comprehensive high schools to complete their education, a testament to the school's success in supporting student growth and achievement.

The event was especially meaningful for Principal Anthony Ippolito, who led his final graduation ceremony before retiring after a distinguished career in education. Baldwin Park Unified student board member Lathanyel Lee addressed the audience with an inspiring message, sharing his plans to pursue a vocational career and encouraging his classmates to embrace their own paths with determination and confidence.

A highlight of the ceremony was North Park’s cherished tradition in which graduates presented their fresh flower lei to a person in the audience who made a meaningful impact in their lives – often a parent, guardian, or close family member. The emotional gesture, unique to North Park, underscored the deep bonds between students and their support systems.

Many of the newly minted Viking graduates will continue their journeys by enrolling in college, joining the workforce, or pursuing vocational training.

North Park High School’s graduation served not only as a celebration of achievement but as a powerful reminder of resilience, growth, and community.
