Pleasant View Elementary students are enjoying a Wellness Room on campus, where they can unwind and relax in a quiet space.
Pleasant View created the Wellness Room as a way to expand on the District's goal to provide mental health and social-emotional support for students.
Roadrunners are encouraged to use the Wellness Room when they need space to check in with their feelings or to rebalance.
In December, Pleasant View administrators and District leaders welcomed representatives from the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE), including Arlene Bates, to see the space.
