Fourth Annual Ruth Gaskin Memorial 5K Walk/Run
On Saturday April 28, 2018 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Baldwin Park High School, athletes, coaches and supporters of Special Olympics East San Gabriel will participate in the fourth Annual Ruth Gaskin Memorial 5K Walk/Run, to honor the memory of the incomparable late Area Director.
Registration to participate is $10.00, which will include a commemorative t-shirt, water and snacks. All entry fees and donations raised will directly benefit local athletes. Special Olympics East San Gabriel encompasses the cities of Baldwin Park, Azusa, Bassett, Covina, Hacienda Heights, La Puente and West Covina. Money raised at this event will support athletes as they participate in year-round sports training and competition.
You can help local athletes by pledging a donation or by participating in the 5K.
Vendors will be on hand (desserts, Tupperware, handmade gifts, etc.) with 75% or more of proceeds going directly to support local Special Olympics Athletes
