Secondary GATE Program
6th Grade GATE Program
This year we will have a special 6th-grade pull-out GATE program once a month, during the school day.
This program is designed to help our GATE 6th-grade students, make the transition into the MS GATE program.
Theme: Sci-fi & Fantasy Writing
6th Grade GATE Sessions: pull-out, all day session (6 total sessions) - once a month, starting in November.

Middle School GATE Program for 7th & 8th Graders
Our Middle School GATE program has a strong focus on student choice and creativity as students create and produce a theme school GATE Website. During this highly motivating and engaging 12 session, after-school program students develop:
- strong leadership skills
- research skills
- creative writing skills
- communication and collaboration skills
This an awesome and rewarding project-based academic experience. These impressive school GATE websites are then presented at a district wide GATE showcase where our students' accomplishments are celebrated at an end of the year awards ceremony.
