Independent Daily Living Skills

The focus is on instruction and engagement in activities such as healthy grocery shopping and food preparation, laundry, money skills, personal care/hygiene, family/social life, and sexuality. These skills are crucial for students to lead independent and fulfilling lives.

 

 

 

Community Involvement

Community Involvement

We prioritize community engagement by teaching skills such as reading and understanding street signs, using public transportation, and applying appropriate social skills in various situations, such as asking for help. Through community-based instruction, students learn to navigate their surroundings confidently and participate actively in their communities.

 

 

Vocation

 

Vocational and Career Exploration

Focus is on increasing students' skill set so they are contributing adults within our society and increasing their opportunity for securing employment-meaningful work. Students will be provided instruction in job seeking skills, and job skills training as well as exploratory work experience or on-site work experiences.
