The Baldwin Park Unified School District’s Fourth Annual College Fair held on October 2, 2010 was a HUGE SUCCESS!  Participation in this event increases each year and the District was pleased to have over 1,300 students and parents in attendance.

The Fourth Annual College Fair included representatives from 45 public and private colleges, universities, technical schools, and adult schools along with representatives from the various sectors of the armed forces and criminal justice departments.

This year a new component was added to our Fourth Annual College Fair through collaboration with the Baldwin Park Unified School District Police, which included the participation of Explorer groups from the local area.  Law enforcement agencies presented workshops to students interested in the fields of criminal justice and law enforcement.  Additionally, military vehicles and police exhibits were on display and students were also treated to a special viewing of an actual police helicopter.  The fair was both informative and entertaining making it an excellent learning experience and an enjoyable day for those in attendance.
