Welcome to ECE!

Thank you for visiting the ECE Department.

Our ECE program has served the community of Baldwin Park and parts of Irwindale since the 1940's at the onset of World War II when fathers and mothers entered the war efforts. Since then, our program has expanded into several communities including the cities of Bell, Cudahy, Hacienda Heights, La Puente, and Maywood. Our goal is to reach every child 0-5 years old in our communities so that they have the skills and knowledge to succeed in school and fulfill their dreams.

We have been recognized by county, state, and federal agencies for quality systems, services, community partnerships, and staff. Systems are geared to support comprehensive services that address students and families holistically. Services are augmented by partners such as universities and private non-profit service providers. Caring and dedicated staff,  now nearing 260, are sensitive to the diverse needs of each community we serve. Teachers and instructional aides are some of the most qualified in the early childhood education field. Many have their bachelor's degree and all are certified through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

We hope that you look futher into our program and participate in the many opportunities to help our students and families in the community.
